Email question:
“Could you post the Directors or Board Members for the Home Owners Association, their term of office, their contact information.”
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Are we to assume that Len and Lisa Reason are President and Treasurer?
Here is a link to our Home Owners Association Articles of Incorporation: (but no info on Board setup)

Wondering why the blue truck is still parked on the side of the road on Antioch Lakes Road. The Declaration of Covenants clearly covers vehicle parking.
The Covenants can be viewed at this site: http://deeds.cravencounty.com/LandRecords/protected/SrchQuickName.aspx
Search for Index Type as Consolidated Real Property, Book 2612 and starting with Page 547.
You should see the Covenants and Amendments listed.

There is the issue of construction debris at the corner of Antioch lakes Road/Ramonas Lake Court and on Ramonas Lake Court near the cul-de-sac. The debris on Antioch Lakes Road has been there since October of 2009. The debris at the end of Ramonas Lake Court has been there since a couple of weeks after the first 2010 POA meeting. It seems that the promise of a certain contractor to remove the debris simply equated to relocate the debris since some of the material was previously located at Fernie and Antioch Lakes Road. I think you will find the Covenants cover this issue as well. The Covenants are there as a method of protecting our neighborhood and individual investments. If everyone does his part we all benefit from better property values and quality of life. An overlooked item is like a cancer that can quickly spread to adjacent areas and eventually kill the host. |
A great cookout Saturday night, hotdogs and marshmallows. The weather was perfect! |
Quite a thunderstorm we had Sunday afternoon. A good bit of near by lightning and a good amount of much needed rain. |
This caught my eye this morning and sent me running for the camera. (Click for a larger view.)
REFUSE There is a Craven County Convenience Center on 55 East. It is just past the Bridgeton Food Lion on the left. There is a recycle area for paint, oil, paper, cardboard and batteries. There are dumpsters for metal, wood and trash. Please remember they require a Refuse Only sticker for household garbage. HOURS OF OPERATIONS |
FISHING Bait can purchased at Wal-Mart or Big M Equipment in Bridgeton, beside the Hess Station. If you fish in public waters a NC Fishing License is required, one for fresh water (inland) and one for salt water (coastal).

Phone, Internet and TV There is no cable TV at The Lakes but Satellite TV is available through CenturyLink. Phone and DSL is available through CeturyLink as well. Great pricing on the packages and satellite programming is more flexible than cable. You can also work directly with the satellite provider and bypass CenturyLink. FOOD A Subway and Chinese Food in the Food Lion shopping center in Bridgeton. I can vouch for the Chinese food! --------------- Shultzee Ice Cream Shop in Bridgeton just past and on the same side as the Hess station. Debbie also has bagels and coffee in the morning. 505 D Street ---------------- Right beside the ice cream shop is a very good butcher shop and deli. Boars Head products, specialty cheeses and the best cuts of meat you’ll find. Butcher Market LLC ----------------- And beside the butcher shop is what I consider to be a good pizza establishment, and they deliver. George may be driving his Monte Carlo SS. http://www.georgespizzashop.com/ |
